Terms of Service

Household OS ("we", "us", or "our") is operated by As You Need LLC. By accessing or using Household OS websites, applications, or related services, you agree to these Terms of Service. Official product aliases are householdproductivity.com, glittermeinpink.com, and asyouneedllc.com (operator / legal alias), together with our mobile applications. If you do not agree, do not use Household OS.

Our Privacy Policy (https://householdproductivity.com/privacy) is incorporated by reference.

Household OS is a household productivity platform. Features may include, without limitation:

• Shared and personal calendars
• Tasks, chores, and habits
• Gamification & Youth Perks. Experience points (XP) and youth perks have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for legal tender.
• Household finance tools powered by Plaid connections you authorize
• Inbound Email Task Parsing via Resend to your private intake at @inbound.householdproductivity.com
• MCP AI assistant integrations you explicitly connect

You must be at least 18 years of age to create a primary Household OS account (for example, Household CEO).

A Household CEO may create teen or child sub-accounts for members of their household. By creating a minor sub-account, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian of that minor and that you consent to their use of Household OS under your supervision. You remain fully responsible for all activity on accounts you create or authorize, including youth sub-accounts.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@asyouneedllc.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

Each household has one primary administrator (Household CEO) who manages household membership and shared settings. Items, habits, and other records marked is_shared = false stay private to the adult or roommate who created them and remain hidden even from the Household CEO.

Household OS, including its software, design, trademarks, and documentation, is the exclusive property of As You Need LLC and its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Household OS for your personal household purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, frame, or otherwise attempt to extract source code or systematically collect content from Household OS, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of Household OS without authorization
• Harvest accounts, personal data, or content you are not authorized to access
• Evade a suspension, ban, or other access restriction
• Use Household OS finance features for unauthorized commercial purposes

We may terminate or suspend access and, where appropriate, report conduct to law enforcement.

Household OS uses third-party services you choose to connect. Your use of those services is also subject to their terms and privacy policies.

Plaid. Financial connections are provided by Plaid. By linking an institution you agree to Plaid's End User Privacy Policy (https://plaid.com/legal). We do not store your banking passwords.

MCP OAuth assistants. If you connect a third-party AI assistant (for example Claude) via OAuth, you are responsible for the instructions you give that assistant and for the actions it takes with the permissions you grant.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. We NEVER share mobile information or SMS consent with third parties for marketing.

We may send transactional account messages as needed to operate Household OS. Optional daily or weekly digests are sent only after your explicit opt-in. Standard carrier message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel and HELP for assistance, or update messaging preferences in your account settings.

You retain ownership of content you submit to Household OS, including tasks, notes, files, and messages you forward to your inbound intake address. You grant As You Need LLC a limited license to store, process, display, and parse that content solely to operate Household OS for you and your household.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit any content you upload or forward, including email you send to @inbound.householdproductivity.com.

Our Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference and explains how we collect, use, and share personal data. The Privacy Policy is also available at https://householdproductivity.com/privacy.

HOUSEHOLD OS IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AS YOU NEED LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Financial disclaimer. Household OS is not a financial advisor, broker, or investment adviser. Information shown from linked accounts is for household organization only and is not advice.

XP, gamification rewards, and Youth Perks have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed for legal tender.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AS YOU NEED LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, HOUSEHOLD OS.

OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO HOUSEHOLD OS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE FEES YOU PAID TO AS YOU NEED LLC FOR HOUSEHOLD OS IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100).

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless As You Need LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of Household OS, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Claims that are not subject to arbitration must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Denver, Colorado, and you consent to that venue and jurisdiction.

Before filing a claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by emailing support@asyouneedllc.com and allowing 30 days for a response.

If the dispute is not resolved informally, it will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will take place in Denver, Colorado, unless the parties agree otherwise or applicable AAA rules require a different location.

CLASS ACTION WAIVER. You and As You Need LLC may bring claims against each other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding.

You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing support@asyouneedllc.com with the subject line "Arbitration Opt-Out" and your full name and account email.

You may stop using Household OS and request deletion of your account at any time by emailing support@asyouneedllc.com. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service.

Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, and arbitration survive termination.

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will email the address on your account at least 14 days before the change takes effect and update the Effective Date at the top of this page.
